A 35-year-old man from Bedworth has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a 33-year-old man was discovered in a house in Bulkington Road, Bedworth, on Monday (6 May).
Police received a call at 1.25pm raising concern for the man and officers forced entry to the house where they discovered his body. He had suffered stab wounds.
Police have also released a photo of another man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. They believe John Allison, 35, from Bedworth, is currently in the Bedworth or Bulkington areas.
Anyone who sees Allison or knows of his whereabouts should call 999 immediately quoting incident 200 of 6 May 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Allison should not be approached.
Detective Chief Inspector Anna Middleton from the Warwickshire Police Major Investigation Unit said: "We are continuing our investigations to establish the circumstances leading up to the man's death and identify those responsible.
"We have one man in custody who is continuing to help with our enquiries.
"We're also keen to speak to John Allison as he may have information vital to our investigation. We're confident that someone knows where he is and can help us to locate him."
The post mortem and formal identification are due to take place tomorrow.
A police cordon remains in place around the house.
At this time, detectives believe the victim and offenders were known to each other.

UPDATE: 16.35, 08/05/2019: This afternoon (Wednesday 8 May) officers have arrested a 39-year-old man from Coventry on suspicion of assisting an offender.
