Appeal to trace e-bikes stolen in Loughborough

One e-bike is an Orbea Rise and the other a Vitus carbon road racing bike.

Leicestershire Police are appealing for help to find two e-bikes.

The bikes were taken from the garage of an address in Braddon Road at around 1.30 am on Saturday (10 June).

One e-bike – pictured below – is an Orbea Rise. The owner has modified the bike, so it is now using Hunt wheels and has carbon fibre handlebars and a gold seat post with a white Whyte saddle.

The other bike – a Vitus carbon road racing bike – is silver and has carbon fibre handlebars.

Detective Constable Will Huggins, the investigating officer, said: “Both bikes are very distinctive in their appearance and therefore I’m keen to speak to anyone who has seen or been offered either of them for sale.

“Likewise, I’d like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anyone acting in a manner that seemed unusual or suspicious in the area of Braddon Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.

“Anything you’re able to provide, no matter how insignificant you think it is, could help.”
