ESP Fitness based in Loughborough who designs and supplies high performance training equipment to the professional sports industry has adapted during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the sports and fitness industry put on hold because of covid-19, the company decided to adapt and start supplying the home fitness market.

They've installed between 100 and 150 home gym for customers including some professional athletes.

Dr Vern Neville, Managing Partner at ESP Fitness said: "The pandemic like many other businesses hit us immediately. Most of our clients are professional sports teams and commercial fitness facilities and we had containers of items going to different countries and overnight that stopped.
We then realised people couldn't train at their usual commercial facilities, which meant they had to be trained somewhere and they would probably need equipment for their home. Overnight we pivoted our company and re-designed a complete range of products for the home market.
The demand for home equipment has massively increased which is fantastic for us as a company because it's given us a whole new market.
We are very excited about the next phase, we have got a new market and our old market will come back although it might be delayed but we're very excited what the future holds at the moment."
