New CCTV of missing Loughborough woman

Linda Chambers who is 43, hasn't been seen since April.

Officers trying to find a missing Loughborough woman have released CCTV images showing her in the town.

Linda Chambers, who is 43, was reported missing on Tuesday 10 September – but has not been seen since April.

Images published on Tuesday 17th September show Linda shopping on Saturday 13th April – the first day of the Easter school holiday.

From enquiries carried out to date, it has been established that Linda is known to regularly visit Queen’s Park in Loughborough as well as a gift shop in Churchgate. She has a bus pass and uses public transport to get around.

Officers have searched Linda’s address in Cabin Leas as they continue to try and establish where she may be.

Detective Inspector Simon Boden, from the Missing Persons Operations Team, said: “We have released new images that show Linda shopping in Loughborough on 13 April. While I appreciate these images are from some time ago, I’m hopeful they may help us in trying to find her.

“Do you recognise Linda from these images? Does the pink coat she’s pictured wearing stand out to you? Have you seen her in Loughborough at any point since she was last sighted?

“Both police and Linda’s family remain extremely concerned for her welfare.

“Linda, if you’re reading this appeal, please get in touch with officers to let us know that you’re okay.  Please be assured you aren’t in any trouble – we just want to know that you’re safe.”

Linda is white, 5ft 3ins tall and has shoulder-length brown hair. She also wears glasses.

Call 101, quoting incident 372 of 13 September.
