Rallying cry to job-seekers ahead of event

Businesses and organisations promoting roles

Businesses and organisations, including Leicestershire County Council, have signed up to their involvement in a job show at Leicester’s King Power Stadium on Thursday, 4th April (10.30am – 4pm).

The free-to-enter event is open to all job-seekers in Leicester and Leicestershire and representatives from the county council’s adult learning and environment and transport departments as well as the customer service centre will be available to talk to potential employees.

There are vacancies in a range of roles, including learning tutors, teaching volunteers, drivers, apprentice technicians and customer service officers.

 

There will be lots of new opportunities to come and work for the council. We are always looking for passionate and talented people to join our teams

The Job Show is supported for the third year running by the county council’s Safe and Sustainable Travel brand, Choose How You Move.

Choose How You Move staff will be on hand to advise job seekers and employers on how they can make their work place healthier and more sustainable.

They will have cycling maps, walking routes, and information about active initiatives such as lunch time walks, cycle to work and car share schemes, on offer.
