The Comptroller will ensure quality of financial transactions and reporting, develop our financial well-being and play a leading role in financial decision-making. You will provide senior management with strategic financial input, and oversee the overall accounting processes. You will ensure accuracy in all our financial activities.<\/p>\n\n<p>To ensure success you need to give management sound advice, and manage accounting activities with the aim of visibly reducing costs. Top candidates are confident, analytical and positive.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Comptroller Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Developing and forecasting budgets under direction of CFO.<\/li>\n  <li>Implementing finance and accounting policies and procedures.<\/li>\n  <li>Determining effect of potential business decisions on financial policy.<\/li>\n  <li>Collaborating as company representative with business partners.<\/li>\n  <li>Cooperating with business units and support functions across company.<\/li>\n  <li>Ensuring prompt and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.<\/li>\n  <li>Preparing timely financial statements.<\/li>\n  <li>Reporting variances.<\/li>\n  <li>Overseeing accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.<\/li>\n  <li>Ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Comptroller Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in accounting, business or finance.<\/li>\n  <li>5+ years related work experience.<\/li>\n  <li>Proficient with QuickBooks and Salesforce.<\/li>\n  <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.<\/li>\n  <li>Outstanding knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations.<\/li>\n  <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n  <li>Ability to work as part of a team.<\/li>\n  <li>Ability to provide financial projections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","image":"https:\/\/mm.aiircdn.com\/375\/5cb0a656cfade.png","author":{"name":"Hinckley Jobs"},"_mobile_inapp_url":"https:\/\/www.fosse107.co.uk\/_app_pages\/stations\/3431\/blogs\/posts\/47168"}]}
