Eleven fire service vehicles responded to a fire at the Biffa Waste site in Coalville.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called 6.37pm. They received several calls about a large fire on Snibston Drive in Coalville.
The fire was thought to be on the ground floor of the warehouse which is used as a recycling centre.
Fire appliances from Coalville, Ashby, Castle Donington, Melbourne, Western and Shepshed were in attendance as well as the watercarrier from Loughborough and Welfare Unit from Kibworth and Aerial ladder Platform from Central Station.
A fire investigation officer will be attending this morning.
