The annual Mallory Mile event will now take place on Monday 17th June because of heavy rain.
It is the first time in 18 years that the event has had to be postponed.
A spokesperson for Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council said the family cycling event would go ahead between 6pm and 8pm, one week later than planned.
The event, which co-incides with National Bike week, encourages young people and families to take their bicycles around the famous Mallory Park Race Circuit at Kirkby Mallory.
