Halloween Family Treasure Hunt

Families are invited to take part in a free spooky adventure around Hinckley town centre this Halloween, as Hinckley BID’s Halloween Family Treasure Hunt returns from Saturday 17 October to Saturday 31 October 2026.

The family-friendly trail will see 11 spooky ghouls hiding in business windows around the town centre, with participants challenged to follow the clues, find each ghoul and discover their names.

Clue Guides can be collected from Cineworld, Hinckley Library, Holiday Lounge and Clarks Shoes, with the guide also available to download and print at home from the Hinckley BID website from Thursday 15 October.

Once all 11 ghouls have been found, completed forms can be handed in at YiaYia Bakes, where children can receive a packet of chewy sweets and families can enter the FREE Prize Draw.

Sweets are limited to one packet per child, per completed form, and are subject to availability.

There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs, including:

• Family tickets for The Concordia Theatre Panto – for a family of up to four
• Family Cineworld Cinema Tickets – for a family of up to four
• £100 Holiday Lounge voucher

• £50 shopping voucher, provided by HRBS

Hinckley BID Events Manager Hannah O’Dell said:

“Our Halloween Treasure Hunt is a great way for families to explore Hinckley town centre during the school half-term while enjoying a little spooky fun along the way. With 11 ghouls to find, sweets for participating children and some fantastic prizes in the draw, there’s plenty of reason to get involved.”

Clue Guides will be available from Cineworld during opening hours from 17–25 October and on 31 October, between 9:30am and 10pm. From 26–30 October, guides will be available from approximately midday.

The additional collection points at Hinckley Library, Holiday Lounge and Clarks Shoes provide families with further opportunities to pick up a guide throughout the event.

The Halloween Family Treasure Hunt is free to enter and is designed as a fun activity for families throughout the Halloween half-term period.
