Appeal to identify man after woman is assaulted in Markfield shop

Officers have released an image of a man they want to speak to.

The incident happened inside a shop in Main Street at around 7 pm on Friday 3rd September.

A 30-year-old woman, who worked in the shop, was punched in the stomach.

PC Hollie Woods, said: “I’d like to speak to the man pictured as I believe he may have information about this incident.

“If you recognise him – or indeed you are that person – then please get in touch.”
