Film screenings
We’ve got three showings lined up across the day, with something for film fans of all ages. These will be confirmed soon.

We’ll be running polls on the Council's Facebook page – keep your eyes peeled and get involved by voting for your favourite films in the lead-up to the big day.

Giant games – From mega-sized Jenga to massive Connect 4, challenge your friends or get the whole family involved in some friendly competition
Live entertainers – Be dazzled by performers popping up throughout the park with walkabout magic, circus skills, and feel-good vibes all afternoon
Community stalls – Explore stalls run by local makers, creatives and community groups. From tasty treats to handmade crafts, there’s plenty to browse and enjoy
Fun rides – Add a little thrill to your afternoon with a ride or two – perfect for the young (and the young at heart).
Food and drink – Bring a picnic or treat yourself to something delicious from our local food traders. Think sweet, savoury and everything in between
A relaxed day for all ages –Bring a picnic blanket, your favourite snacks and settle in for a chilled out day in the heart of the park.
Top tips for a great day
Pack a picnic and something comfy to sit on (camping chairs, beanbags, or your favourite picnic rug)
Bring suncream and stay hydrated – we’re hoping for sunshine, after all
Help us keep the park clean by using the bins provided or taking your rubbish home.
Dogs welcome, but please keep them on leads and make sure they’re comfy with crowds and noise
Parking: Town centre car parks are available nearby for a fee
Toilets: On-site toilets (including accessible facilities) available. Public toilets information.

Summer Cinema is one of several events which form part of the Living Loughborough project which is being supported by Loughborough Town Deal. The Town Deal secured £16.9 million from the Government’s Towns Fund to support 11 projects and in total, they are worth more than £40 million of investment.
