Two more patients being cared for at Leicester's hospitals and who had tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
In a statement the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust said: "Sadly, we can confirm that 239 patients being cared for at our hospitals, and who had tested positive for COVID-19, have died.
"Two of those deaths has been announced today (4 May, 2020). The patients were in their 90s.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the patient at this very difficult and distressing time."
