Police are reviewing CCTV.
A man has been arrested following an attack in Nuneaton, and police are asking anyone who saw anything to get in touch.
At around 11.50 pm on Monday (30 June) a woman in her forties was assaulted on Cyprus Way near to Lime Grove and Cedar Road in Hartshill.
Following the assault, she approached people’s front doors and eventually managed to flag down the driver of a white Toyota for help.
Warwickshire Police, said: "We’ve arrested a 40-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and he is currently in custody.
"We are making door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV, and we’re also asking that if you saw anything, you get in touch with us by calling 101 or visiting www.warwickshire.police.uk/ro/report, giving incident number 500 of 30 June."
