Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a robbery in Nuneaton on Tuesday evening (12 June).
Between 6.30pm and 6.40pm, a 22-year-old man was walking on Griff Lane, on the footbridge over the A444 leading towards Bermuda Park. As he walked around the corner of the footpath, he was approached by two males.
He was then assaulted by the males and his grey rucksack, which contained a yellow Acer Iconia tablet, was stolen. He sustained injuries to his hand and ear.
The offenders then ran off in the direction of Griff Lane and Coventry Road.
They are described as:
An Asian man in his twenties, 5ft 7ins, of an athletic build. He had a short dark beard, and was believed to be wearing a black beanie hat, a black jacket and blue denim jeans.
A white male, around 17 years old, 5ft 4ins, of a slim build. He was believed to be wearing a blue hooded top, with the hood tight around his face.
Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the offence, or recognises the description of those involved, to please contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident reference 367 of 12 June 2018.
