Police have arrested two people after reports of an attempt to set a house on fire in Market Bosworth.
Officers were called to Station Road at 9pm on Tuesday 4th August.
Local residents reported seeing police cars around a house.
Leicestershire Police told Fosse 107:
A report was received at 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 August) that an attempt had been made to set fire to a property.
A 27-year-old man and 47-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing and the scene preservation has since been removed.
