Yesterday afternoon Hinckley Police carried out three drug-related warrants in the area.

The first team of neighbourhood officers executed a warrant in Lawnswood. Officers recovered a small quantity of Class A drugs as well as three bicycles, which are believed to have been stolen. The police have said that enquiries are continuing.
The second team of neighbourhood officers executed a warrant in Tame Way. No drug-related items were found during the search. A male at the property was arrested for a number of unrelated matters.
The third team of neighbourhood officers executed a warrant in King George's Way. Officers recovered a quantity of Class A and Class B drugs and a male was arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply (PWITS) Class A drugs and possession of Class B drugs.
Two of the properties received a closure notice due to anti-social behaviour issues.
The closure notice prohibits entry to the property for all, excluding the tenants.
An application for a closure order will be made at court at a later date.
