In what was a great night for the Tories, new Loughborough MP Jane Hunt has paid tribute to former MP Nicky Morgan.

Jane Hunt has kept Loughborough in the hands of the Conservatives, taking over the seat from former Culture Secretary Nicky Morgan.

Speaking to us she paid tribute to her predecessor.

The Conservative also held in Charnwood – Edward Argar has kept the seat for the Tories.
