Thieves broke in to a shop in Kirby Muxloe and stole money.
Police officers are investigating a burglary at a store in Kirby Muxloe earlier this morning.
The store in Main Street was broken into at around 1.30am on Friday 29th March.
A red Mazda drove into the front shutters of the store allowing access to be gained and a quantity of cash was stolen from inside.
A 44-year-old Leicester man arrested on suspicion of burglary has been released on police bail pending enquiries.
Detective Constable Joseph McCormack is appealing for anyone who may have any information about the incident to get in touch.
He said: “From our enquiries so far, we believe four suspects were involved and made off in the Mazda heading towards Ratby Lane.
“Our investigation is ongoing and we would ask anyone who have witnessed the burglary or who saw any suspicious activity which could be linked to what happened to please contact us.”
