The road traffic collision happened on Monday 4th October.
A drink driver has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison after colliding with a vehicle in Ibstock earlier this week.
Craig Hickin, 45, of Cotsmore Close, Heather appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court where he was convicted of driving while above the alcohol limit.
He also received a driving ban of three years.
Sgt Jon Sharpe, from North West Leicestershire Neighbourhood Policing area, said: “Hickin consumed a significant amount of alcohol before getting into his vehicle and putting not just himself at risk but other motorists and possibly even pedestrians."
Officers attended the road traffic collision on Monday 4th October in High Street after a report that a vehicle had rolled into another vehicle.
Hickin was breathalysed by officers and blew four times over the legal drink drive limit.
Sgt Jon Sharpe, said: “This case shows our commitment to arresting those who commit such offences and they will be put before the courts to face punishment for their actions.”
