31 drivers were issued with parking fines outside Bosworth Water Park on Bank Holiday Monday.
Police say they took action against 31 drivers illegally parked outside a Leicestershire beauty spot over the bank holiday weekend.
Market Bosworth Police posted a video on facebook asking drivers not to park illegally to enjoy busy attractions as temperatures soared to 25 degrees.
31 drivers were issued with a fixed penalty notice of £30 and a number of drivers were spoken to about their parking.
Bosworth Water Park posted a number of messages on social media over the busy bank holiday weekend urging people not to attend the attraction which was at capacity. One simply said "WE ARE FULL."
Officers said they welcomed any other form of solution to the problem of parking on busy days at the Water Park but said "enforcement" seemed to be the only option after complaints from residents.
Leicestershire Police Inspector Emma Maxwell, the NPA Commander for Hinckley and Bosworth, said: "Parking in Market Bosworth, around the area of Bosworth Water Park, has been raised as a local issue and is something that officers in the area will continue throughout the summer months to tackle.
"We appreciate that, with the warmer weather, a large number of people will be visiting the water park, however, we ask that care and consideration is taken when parking.
"Parking in areas not designated makes it dangerous for children, families with pushchairs and disabled people who are forced onto the road. Inconsiderate parking may also restrict access for emergency vehicles."
