The M69 is closed because of a severe industrial fire at Enderby.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said a number of wooden pallets were involved in a fire off Desford Road in Enderby.
Local residents have been advised to close windows and doors and the area remains closed.

Leicestershire Police said that both carriageways of the M69 had to be closed for health and safety reasons.
*Traffic update at 13:29*Junction 21 of M1/M69 and Junction 2 closed -both north and southbound.Also between Beggars Lane/Mill Hill and Mill Hill/Leicester Lane Enderby due to large fire - closed for health and safety reasons. Closure to be at least 3-4 hours-updates to follow**

Firefighters were called at 11:44am but police said the road was likely to be closed for some time.
