The Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a van on fire within a car park in High Street, Desford just after 3.45am on Saturday 19th December.
The initial report was of a van on fire in the car park but they received a further call to say it had spread to other vehicles.
One appliance from the Southern Station and one appliance from the Western Station were sent to the scene.
Its reported there was no injuries and the fire service said the believed cause of the fire was under investigation.
A statement from Leicestershire Fire and rescue Service said:
"Several calls received to a van on fire within a car park of a public house on High Street in Desford. Upon further information from further callers advised two vans involved in fire.
"Fire control added additional appliance due to volume of calls received.
"Upon arrival by crews, the fire had spread to four vehicles within the car park.
"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using two hose-reel jets tackled the fire."
The fire was completely extinguish at 4.50am and crews remained on the scene damping down the area.
A statement from Leicestershire Police said: "We are investigating a suspicious fire in Desford at the weekend. Police was contacted by Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service who were attending a fire in a car park in the High Street.
"The report was received just after 4am on Saturday (19 December), a van was found alight which has resulted in damage to two other vehicles parked nearby. Enquiries into to the fire are continuing and if anyone has information which may assist they are asked to contact 101, quoting crime number 20*669254.
