There was a fire in the stove roof.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance at Loughborough's Bellfoundry this morning (30 January)
David Potter, Trustee of the Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust, said: "There was a small fire in the stove roof that was swiftly dealt with by trained staff. They managed the situation until the fire brigade arrived and resolved the matter."
John Taylor & Co in Loughborough is the last major bell foundry in the UK.
Fosse 107 has contacted Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service for a statement.
