Leicestershire Fire and Rescue received multiple 999 calls around 12:47 pm.
Six fire engines are in attendance at a 'substantial' grass fire on Bosworth Road in Sutton Cheney.
The crews have come from Market Bosworth, Kibworth, Hinckley, Coalville, Western and from over the border in Atherstone.
There are also multiple emergency service teams at the scene.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue has confirmed that they have requested the use of the police drone.
