Fire crews 'very busy' dealing with grass fires throughout the county

This afternoon crews were sent to Earl Shilton to put out a large grass fire.

Leicestershire Fire Control have released a warning that they are very busy dealing with grass fires across the county.

Three fire engines were called to Clickers Way this afternoon to extinguish a large grass fire in the fields near Earl Shilton.

The control room have said that the dry weather increases the risk of grass fires becoming significant incidents.
