The aims of the awards are to acknowledge, celebrate and reward those within our local community who have become your sporting heroes or gone the extra mile.
So do you know someone who has gone above and beyond in sport? Has someone inspired you or been dedicated to your club? Could you tell us about someone’s outstanding achievement in sport? If yes, help us give them the recognition and praise that they deserve at the sports awards.
To make sure everyone’s efforts and success is acknowledged there are a wide range of awards to thank those who deserve it the most.
Nominations are needed for a total of 14 categories including:
- Coach of the Year
- Clubs of the Year
- Disabled Athlete Awards
- Junior Awards
- School Awards
- Unsung Hero
- Volunteering Awards
Nomination forms are available online: local sport and health sports awards (hbsha.org.uk) or alternatively you can request a form by telephoning 01455 255678.
