"All we are asking is please can you keep us in the loop."
Nuneaton and Bedworth Police have posted on social media that there has been an increase in burglaries and vehicle crime in recent weeks in the north of the county.
As a response they are asking for people to give them information.
They said: "Social media groups are great for getting the word out instantly to warn local residents of what's happening whether it be a suspicious vehicle, suspicious person etc and on occasions images and/or CCTV footage is shared within the groups. All we are asking is please can you keep us in the loop as it could be crucial in our quest to bring offenders to justice."
They can be contacted on 999 in an emergency, 101 in a non-emergency or via the online reporting https://www.warwickshire.police.uk/.../soh/seen-or-heard/ or anonymously via Crimestoppers https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information
