The driver has made himself known to the police.
Leicestershire Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Friday (4/07) at 2.26 pm in Castle Street, Hinckley.
It was reported that one of the vehicles involved failed to stop at the scene and made off.
Leicestershire Police has issued an update which says that "The driver has made himself known to police and an investigation is continuing."
No injuries were reported from the occupants of the other vehicle however they went to hospital as a precaution.
