The victim, who is in his 30s was taken to hospital with injuries.
Officers were called at 12.27 am on Saturday 12th October to The Crescent in Hinckley after it was reported a man was assaulted.

No weapons are reported to have been used in the incident, and Leicestershire Police say an investigation is ongoing.
