They have asked residents to stay home if the journey is not essential.
Leicestershire Police have put out a plea asking residents to not call them about vehicles that are stuck and not causing a major hazard.
The force says they have been very busy due to the weather and are getting a lot of calls about stuck vehicles.
Leicestershire Police said: "If the vehicles are not in a dangerous position or causing a major hazard then please do not call us about this. Please stay at home if your journey is not essential."
There was heavy snow across the county this morning and the Met Office has a yellow weather warning in place until 14:00 this afternoon.
