The B4114 has been closed since 2:40pm.
Police have confirmed a car and a lorry have crashed on the B4114 earlier this afternoon.
The road is closed between the A5 and Sharnford and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
Emergency services are on the scene and enquires are ongoinging.
It is not known if anyone has been injured.
