A 42-year-old man has been charged following an aggravated burglary in Loughborough.
The incident happened at an address in Knightthorpe Road shortly before 11.30pm on Wednesday (11 July).
Jason Brown, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
Brown was also subsequently charged with breach of bail, breach of a domestic violence protection order and failing to appear at court.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Leicester Crown Court this morning.
