The annual Loughborough Mela event returns to the town centre today Sunday August 19 between 12-5pm
The free event celebrates Loughborough’s cultural and ethnic diversity and brings a variety of food stalls, children’s activities, fairground rides and an entertainment programme to Loughborough.
Artists performing at this year’s Mela event include:

 - Kadam Verma
 - Amith Dey
 - R&R Productions
 - Euphoria China Arts
 
The Loughborough Mela is organised in partnership by Equality Action, Charnwood Arts, John Storer Charnwood and local community groups and individuals. The event also receives support from Charnwood Borough Council and Arts Council England.
Please note that the area from Cattle Market, Market Street and Market Place is closed to regular traffic on the day.
