Warwickshire Police are attending a serious collision that has closed the M6 in Warwickshire between J3 (Bedworth) and J2 (Coventry).
National Highways has reported that 'all emergency services are currently on the scene and National Highways Traffic Officers are assisting with traffic management. It is likely the carriageway will remain closed into the afternoon whilst Warwickshire Police carry out collision investigation work.'
Traffic is being diverted via the hollow square diversion symbol
- Exit the M6 at J3 and take the A444 southbound
- Continue along the A444 to the A428/A444 Binley Road junction
- Take the A428 eastbound and continue to the A428/A46 junction
- Take the A46 northbound and rejoin the M6 at J2
Traffic travelling from the north to the M1 may wish to use the M5 and M42 as an alternate route.
