A 35-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in Stoke Golding.
The man has been charged with attempted murder and appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 30 November).
Police were called to an address in Stoke Golding shortly before 6 pm on Tuesday (28 November) evening after a report of a woman in her 30s being stabbed inside a property.
Leicestershire Police: "She was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in a stable condition. Her injuries are not life-threatening."
Police say both parties are known to each other.
The man has been further remanded in custody and will appear at Leicester Crown Court next year.
