Man jailed following stabbing in Nuneaton earlier this year

The victim received brain, back and facial injuries.

A 20-year-old has been sentenced to eight years in prison after a stabbing in Nuneaton in April.

On Saturday, 12 April this year, Warwickshire  Police went to Mendip Drive in Nuneaton, after reports of a man receiving stab wounds.

Just 30 minutes after this, they arrested Harly Malinowski, 20, at his home.

He was sentenced on Friday (14 November) at Warwick Crown Court and was found guilty of wounding with intent.

Investigating officer DC Kelly, said: “The victim received brain, back and facial injuries as a result of this incident, some of which are likely to have long term effects. I welcome the eight-year sentence handed to Malinowski and I hope the victim feels as though they have got justice. I commend the victim’s bravery throughout the judicial process.”
