Ben Spencer from is raising money in memory of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who died at the King Power Stadium.
A man from Loughborough has taken on the challenge of running 15 miles from Loughborough to Leicester to raise money in memory of the former Leicester City Chairman who died on Saturday.
Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was killed along with four other people in a helicopter crash outside the stadium after the match against West Ham on Saturday 27th October.
Ben Spencer, said he wanted to run from Loughborough University to King Power Stadium in memory of the chairman and others who tragically lost their lives.
Ben said: "Khun Vichai did so much for Leicester City and the local community and I'm raising money for the Leicester Hospitals Charity - Children’s Hospital, the same charity that he donated to so generously. If you see a bloke in a Leicester shirt running from Loughborough Uni, through Quorn, Mountsorrel, Rothley, Birstall, through the town and towards the stadium, give me a honk."
After he completed his challenge, Ben tweeted:
Arrived at @LCFC after my 15 mile #RunForVichai to pay tribute to a great Chairman and an incredible man. Thanks to @BarrowRunners, @JackRaff, @JasonBourne1986, @StringerSport, @Sammystatue, @JamesGane and everyone else for the the support pic.twitter.com/17oRMAR140
