The Chorizo Ring has the best-before date of 08 December 2023
Morrisons has recalled its Morrisons Spanish Chorizo Ring as it may contain salmonella.
The Food Standards Agency, said: "Salmonella is present in the product ... Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps."
The advice to customers is to not eat it and instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund (with or without a receipt).
Morrisons said: "No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety."
There are Morrisons stores in Hinckley, Coalville and Loughborough.
