The turnout for the by-election was 18.76%.
The votes have been counted and Steve Bellamy has been elected as a borough councillor for the Sileby and Seagrave ward.
The Green Party Councillor got 752 votes.
Cllr Bellamy joins Cllr Naomi Bottomley and Cllr Geoff Lawrence as a borough councillor for the Sileby and Seagrave ward.

Alistair Duffy, Liberal Democrats - 40 votes
Sue Gerrard, The Conservative Party - 262 votes
Kaisra Manzur Khan, Labour Party – 70 votes
Pete Morris, Reform UK – 297 votes
Steve Bellamy (The Green Party) is duly elected as a borough councillor for the Sileby and Seagrave ward.
