When the pantry began it served 10 people, there are now 300 on the books.

A not-for-profit subsidised pantry at The Schofield Centre has had a huge increase in people using its services.

The Cupboard on the Corner is a community shop which costs people £3.50 a visit.

As well as helping people financially, the Cupboard on the Corner is also helping to eliminate food waste by taking food that is near its ‘best before’ date and would no longer be accepted into a supermarket.

When the centre opened during the pandemic it served 10 people, now the pantry has over 300 people on its books.
