The incident took place in May this year.
UPDATE
Leicestershire Police said: On Wednesday 4 August, we issued an image of two men we wanted to identify as part of our investigation into a burglary in Ratby in May.
Following the appeal, one of the two men came forward and identified themselves to police.
As a result it was ascertained that neither of the two men were involved in the burglary at the address.
Officers would like to thank them for coming forward as assisting us with our enquiries.

During the evening of 9 to 10 May, police received reports of a burglary on Park Road.
A car and a bank card were stolen.
The bank card was then used at a shop in Main Street, Kirby Muxloe on 12 May around 9.45pm.
PC Abbie Cubison said: “We are continuing investigations to try and find those responsible for this burglary.
“We would like to hear from anyone with any information that could help us identify the men in these images.”
