They had to be taken to hospital after being trapped for over an hour.

Three vehicles collided in an incident last night on Twycross Road in Sheepy Magna.

East Midlands Ambulance Service, Air Ambulance, Police, and Fire Crews from Market Bosworth and Atherstone were all called to the scene at 7:40pm yesterday evening (26th July).

Upon arrival they found one person trapped in their car, with another 'walking wounded'.

After liaising with the Hellimed doctor, fire crews managed to free the casualty at 8:46pm. They were then rushed to hospital.

Shortly after 9pm crews were making the second vehicle safe.

Leicestershire Police have been contacted for a statement.
