Ashby Road, in Stapleton, is still closed.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue were first alerted to the crash at 06:37 this morning (24th November).
Two vehicles were involved in the road traffic collision and one person was trapped.
Fire and Rescue vehicles from Hinckley and Market Bosworth attended the scene.
The male casualty had to be extracted through the rear of the vehicle and was taken to hospital by Ambulance.
