A spokesperson from Leicestershire police said: "It happened at an address in Ashby Road at around 1.30pm on Thursday 3 September.

The front door of the property was smashed and a quantity of jewellery – including bracelets, necklaces and earrings – were taken.

Some items were later found in Factory Road.

A 21-year-old man from Milton Keynes was arrested in connection with the incident and later released on bail."

Detective Constable Kate Pitt, from Hinckley CID, is the investigating officer. She said: “I would like to speak to the man pictured as I believe he may have information about this incident.

“Do you recognise him or do you know who he is? If so, then please get in touch.”
