A police investigation is underway following a reported burglary at a shop on Rugby Road in Hinckley during the early hours of Friday morning.
Officers were called to the incident shortly before 4am on Friday 20th March, after reports that a break-in had occurred at the premises on Rugby Road.
Emergency services attended the scene, and initial enquiries were carried out in the surrounding area.
Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing, including efforts to determine whether any items were taken during the burglary.
A cordon was briefly in place while officers assessed the scene and gathered evidence.
Detectives are now reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out further enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
