Five bracelets were taken from a shop on Market Place in Hinckley.
Officers have released a CCTV image to help identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft in Hinckley.
It was reported that around 10.30am on Wednesday 7 July a man walked into a business premises on Market Place and asked to try on a bracelet.
He then ran out of the premises with five other bracelets, a total value of over £2,000.
It is believed he ran to a car park on Rugby Road before driving away.
PC Collis Tappin said: “We would like to hear from anyone with any information that could help us identify this man.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen this man in the area around the time of the incident.
“Or from anyone who may have captured this man or his vehicle on dash cam.”
