Police are in attendance at Barwell Infant School this morning.
Shortly after 7.30 am today (Thursday 27 November), a report was made to police stating the body of a man had been found in Townend Road, Barwell.
Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Identification of the deceased is a matter for HM Coroner.
Barwell Infant School has confirmed that it will be closed until Monday.
