Leicestershire Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision today at 2.26 pm in Castle Street, Hinckley.
It is reported that one of the vehicles involved failed to stop at the scene and made off.
Leicestershire Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing to locate the vehicle and its driver.
"No injuries have been reported from the occupants of the other vehicle however they are going to hospital as a precaution."
