Burbage Common Open day will take place this weekend after being postponed at the start of the summer because of the weather.
The event was cancelled in May due to heavy rain but will now take place on Sunday 8th September 2024.
Organisers are promising a fun-packed day for the whole family.
The main event will be held in the area around the visitor centre at the Leicester Road entrance. A large marquee will play host to a range of stalls including craft stalls, charity stalls and local and national environmental charities.
Executive Member for Parks Cllr Lynda Hodgkins said: “The annual Burbage Common open day is always a great day out for the whole family. There is something for everyone, so put the day in your diary and come along. We look forward to seeing you.”
There will be a one-way system for car parking, and we ask everyone to follow the signs and be aware of pedestrians.
