Stephen Webb

The book will be a place to 'celebrate his teaching life.'

Hastings High School will be open next week to former students who want to share their memories of teacher Stephen Webb.

The father of two was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.

The school will be open to former pupils who would like to come together to remember Mr. Webb, to share their memories, and to support one another from 15:00 to 17:00 on Monday 22nd September and Tuesday 23rd September.

They are creating a special book of remembrance, 'Letters to Mr. Webb', to celebrate his teaching life and the impact he had on so many.

Former pupils and families are warmly invited to contribute a letter - in words or pictures (one side of A4).

People can bring their contribution to school, or send it by post/email if they can't attend.

Email: letter@hastings.school

Fosse 107 spoke to Stephen last year, as the community raised over £100,000 in just four days to help fund immunotherapy treatment.

Our thoughts are with Stephen's family.
